- The print is free. One colour or a full photographic wrap costs the same. Complexity never moves the price, only quantity does.
- Personalisation is free too. Names, numbers, ranks and rental IDs are printed before cutting, so per-piece variation costs nothing.
- Templates you can work in. Download the die-line for your cut, drop artwork in, send it back. Our studio can draw it instead if you prefer.
- Recycled by default. Yarn spun from post-consumer plastic waste, with documentation behind the claim.
- Custom development. New cut, new panel layout, new grading — quoted once, then the block is yours to reorder against.
What the numbers mean in the water
225 gsm
Heavy enough to hold its shape and hide what it needs to hide, light enough to dry fast on a deck or between rounds. Thinner fabrics feel cheap in the hand and go translucent when wet, which is the single most common complaint about budget rashguards. Heavier ones stay wet.
85% recycled polyester, 15% elastane
Polyester is what makes dye-sublimation possible at all — the dye bonds with polyester fibres and nothing else, which is why cotton blends cannot be sublimated. The elastane gives four-way stretch and, more importantly, recovery: the garment returns to shape instead of bagging out at the elbows after a season.
UV protection
Protection comes from the fabric's construction and density rather than a coating, so it does not wash out. For crews and instructors working full days outdoors, this is usually the reason the garment gets bought in the first place.
Flatlock seams
The seam lies flat instead of forming a ridge, which is what stops chafing under a wetsuit, a harness or a gi. It also survives lateral load better than an overlocked seam, which matters on the mat.
Artwork requirements
- Vector files preferred: AI, EPS or print-ready PDF.
- Raster artwork at 300 dpi at final print size, CMYK.
- Built on our die-line template for the cut you have chosen.
- Fonts outlined, images embedded, bleed included.
- No artwork at all? Send a logo and a reference and our studio builds it.
Care instructions to pass on to your customer
Rinse in fresh water after salt or chlorine, wash cold, no fabric softener, no tumble dryer, no ironing over the print. Softener coats the fibres and kills the wicking; heat is the only real enemy of elastane. Follow that and the garment outlives the season it was bought for.
